Planet Studios in Perth are experienced in the conversion of 8mm, Super 8 and 16mm films to DVD and more recently to high definition Blu-Ray.

We regularly restore and archive films of all formats to digital and are proud of our long heritage in audio and video.

Our frame by frame telecine system uses the latest frame by frame technology which captures your film footage in its entirety. We take the individual frames (without the 10-20% cropping that standard telecine systems and projectors deliver) and create a seamless video output that runs at the correct frame rate to eliminate the unfortunate flickering that most transfer systems give.

Once the footage is captured to an editing timeline, we restore colour, contrast and remove blank sections of the footage to eventually output a seamless, edited DVD or Blu-Ray delivering the best of your footage.

With High Definition now common, it's imperative that you at least consider the advantages of capturing your footage with the latest HD technology.
